Dr Jenny Mant, founder of JM Riverscapes provides expert environmental guidance — from strategic advice, stakeholder engagement and training to on-the-ground assessments — helping clients identify and deliver effective habitat enhancements especially in the context of aquatic systems for people and climate adaption.
With over 25 years of experience, Jenny knows that success depends not only on technical expertise, but also on flexibility, clear communication, responsiveness, and a deep understanding of the natural environment.
Jenny holds a PhD in fluvial geomorphology and has dedicated her career to improving freshwater and riparian habitats and demonstrating their benefits for people, businesses, ecology and climate adaption. She brings extensive experience across consultancy, research and leadership roles within environmental trusts, private, public and voluntary sectors.
Jenny is a recognised specialist in natural capital, environmental sustainability and aquatic biodiversity net gain.
In addition to her PhD, her qualifications include advanced training in River Corridor Assessment, MoRPH (Modular River Survey), and a river restoration certification from Portland State University, Oregon, USA.
